Subject: Any kind of information on how to help my husband deal with his cancer
Date: 02/12/2007

Hi,

My husband was sent home last week with the news that all medical treatments are discontinued. He has fought colorectal cancer for over three years now. At the time it WAS  discovered it was at stage three. Radiation and chemo treamtents were given immediately. Surgery to remove the cancer took place in January. They discoverd that it has metatacized to the liver. Four types of chemo followed to no avail. We were told to go home and enjoy our life. I would like to know how to help him when he gets sick and what to expect.

Thx.......Ellie

Ellie...Please do not give up hope. I have a friend who was given this same message last year. Actually he was told he would not live to see Christmas. His cancer had spread throughout his body including his brain. If you would like information as to what treatments he is currently taking (they are alternative) please send me a private message and I will give you the information. He tells me he is feeling stronger every day and has no symptoms of illness at this time. Blessings Shemay

I'm sure you have read my past posts, but I'll give you the short version.  If you live in the US, go to a top hospital.  I was dx in July of '04 with Stage IV colon cancer with mets to the liver.  The Dr.'s in my state said I could die at any moment, and that I had 18 months top with surgery.

I went to a top hospital.  Here is a web site that gives you the top hospitals in the US.

http://www.usnews.com/usnews/health/best-hospitals/tophosp.h

You may also want to look at this web site by Richard Bloch

http://www.blochcancer.org/

Start with info for patients and then Fighting cancer.

If you've only seen one Dr. I would honestly get another opinion.  I would not be here now, if I had not seen a top Dr.  And so far, no evidence of Cancer.

Good luck.

Hello Ellie.......a bit of confusion here........ My friend is taking treatments at an integrative medical clinic. He is receiving Intravenous Vitamin C and also 714X, Of course diet , and supplements designed to bring one's own immune system back to an optimum fighting level are crucial as well. The blood tests done by alternative practitioners are vastly different than those done by medical doctors and these along with BTA testing are the indicators as to what supplements are needed for each individual. I hope this is helpful Blessings Shemay

Your husband sounds just like me. I uknowingly had it for 6 years before
they found it. The cut it out as the rectal cancer was so large. Of course
at the same time they found tumours in the liver, 3 at that stage. Chemo
was futile. I had RFA on one liver lesion, killed it stone dead, they could
not reach the others as the were lying under the lung. We were going to
do a laprascopic procedure then use RFA again but the "mushroom"
farm had produced again and we went for a resection. Five days later I
got the bus and train from London to Kent. They found another lesion
on the left side which was resected.
I now take Graviola tincture 1:2 to kill off what you/they can see on a CT
scan, normally 5mm though you can ask for 1mm slices of the image.
So far 3 months have passed and no new lesions. Before, every scan I went for they found another lesion.

The most important thing with cancer is to remain positive, I can and will survive it. I have have stopped doing what caused the cancer and I no longer need it in my body.

I certainly didn't mean to scare anyone.  People have been cured from going to regular hospitals.  But since your close to Sloan Kettering, I would at least get a second opinion there.

I was originally told by the Dr.'s in my area, that there was no hope.  I now travel 16 hours rt to get the treatment that I think works best for me.
