Hi, I am Vicki and my only sister of 23yrs was diagnosed with small cell cervical cancer in August 06 and two weeks ago it was confirmed that it has spread.  A second lump apeared on a vein in her chest and is crushing her stomach and other organs.  She has been told that without serious treatment she only has 2weeks to live.  She at first didn't want anymore treatment but has agreed to have 2 3days worth of 2 different types of chemo with a 21day rest break inbetween and then see if it's helping after that.  It's been unbareable for the whole family, we all live in the same house (2parents and us kids 25 & 23yrs) so we always watch what we say to eachother in case of upset etc.  My sister was told that if the treatment works she might be lucky and get a year out of it, she doesn't talk about it at all, just wants to sort out her finances and who gets what of her possessions when she goes...CAN ANYONE HELP ME with how to help her through this, everything I think of seems lame and useless..

Sorry if this upsets anyone, I have you all in my prayers and I totally appreciate how hard it is for all involved with this terrible disease...xxx
