Dear Folks,
I am sorry to send this but needed to let you all know.
John passed peacefully from this life into the next at home. He chose hospice care in the end knowing that any attempts to prolong his life was futile. He was content to be home for his last days. He was concious and alert though pain free with just a little morphine.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed whitewater kayaking, camping, mountain biking, x-country, teli and downhill skiing and snowboarding. John tried everything he could at least once including aikido and rock climbing. John loved animals, learning to play many instruments, and sharing those instruments with friends. He especially loved living on the river and kayaking.
His wish for all the people is to feel the freedom of living, loving and playing hard. This life is short and must be enjoyed daily.
I hope that someone finds a cure for liver cancer and all other cancers. For now all we can do is encourage wellness and health in an effort to prevent it. Thanks to the message board for info, and answers to questions. It is good to have others to speak to in these difficult times.
The only continuity possible in life, is love, growth, fluidity and freedom, as rivers are free, changing with every season, always flowing and creating a better path for itself.
Brenda
