Please help. My eldest son (27) lives in England. His dad (my ex) also lives there and was diagnosed with the above 2 weeks ago. After all the tests etc., a biopsy was done and they removed 1/3 of the tumour. Following results, the doctors said it was better to have no treatment as he had only a few weeks left and they did not want to impair his remaining quality of life. He has now gone home for his final few weeks. It kills me that I am so far away (South Africa) and I cannot be there for my son. I have another son of 7 who goes to school etc., so I cannot visit him. How can I help him to cope with this apart from staying in touch frequently. I need to tell him what to expect with this illness. i.e. How much deterioration, how soon, how much pain etc. And finally, how will he actually die. Any ideas on what hospice will do for him whilst at home would also be useful. Also any other information would be useful.

thanks
