Hey there! sorry to here about your pup. My beagle was just diagnosed last week (he's male and only 3 years old) and it has been so hard. we just started him on piroxicam this past weekend. the first night, it made him so drowsy, he rolled off the couch. i've switched him to a high protein diet of chicken, cottage cheese, tuna and rice (easy to hide pills in) and he seems to be doing great so far.
