My father has a blockage in his bile duct which we have been told is being caused by 'abnormal cells'. CT scan and ERCPs did not show a tumour at this stage and he will have another ERCP this week to insert a stent to allow bile to flow freely and thereby hopefully alleviate the jaundice. We've been told it has been detected early. Unfortunately he is also waiting for heart bypass surgery. If his heart surgeon decides his heart is strong enough he is scheduled for whipple next week. Has anyone else had the same experience?
