I have been reading this board since my brother-in-law was diagnosed in Dec, 1 week exactly before Christmas of 06. Stage IV PC, met to the Liver. He was given 4-6 months. He is 41. He had 2 stents put in and just this past week, he had been having problems having BM's so he went in. We were told tha the tumor had grown over one of the stents. They went in and replaced that stent with a bigger, longer one.
Now, he had a fever, bilirubin in his urine, and his stomach has fluid in it. What does all of this mean? Is it getting close to the end for him? I know we cant ever really know, but from anyones experience, please tell me what you think. I am trying to prepare myself.
