I am considering starting this Phase III clinical trial. Does anyone have any information on side-effects and effectiveness.

Some personal success stories would be great.

Thanks

Hi Bscran,

I have stage 3 ovarian cancer and had Carbo/Taxol for 6 cycles initially. My CA125's were low throughout those 6 cycles. It took approx. one week to recover from the treatments, never got sick, just joint pains, I did need one Nuelasta (Not sure about the spelling) shot during the 6 treatments. I have continued on Taxol 9 months now, I have 3 left. However, my Dr. thinks I have recently become resistant to Taxol, tests pending.

 Good luck to you!

Doris
