My 82 year old mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer last month. She recently had a hysterectomy and the cancer had spread to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, lymph node space, and the tip of the small bowel. She was also cured from Hodgkins desease 20 years ago. The doctor has never done a PET scan and is recommending 6 months of Chemo, 3 weeks on 1 week off. My brother and I think this is cruel to put our Mother through Chemo but our sisters disagree, they think she will live 10 to 12 more years after Chemo. Just need some input.
