Hi Cindy: I do not know what arcee is. I think you might mean Ara-C
I originally was on Ara-C with Interferon, and it did not work. I am now on Gleevec, which is a type of Chemo, but its just a pill you take everyday. If your Dad is not doing well, maybe you should ask his physician about Gleevec or another new called Sprycel. I hope this information helps you.
