Hello Herpartner.....I made a few postings re Intravenous Vitamin C treatments for cancer and received a lot of private messages asking where this treatment was available in the USA. Obviously there is a great deal of interest in this and the anecdotal evidence of it's efficacy is very positive. I posted a message regarding a good friend of mine whose terminal cancer was turned around in just weeks taking this treatment along with lipoic acid and 714X. I also know of others who have had good results with just the Int.Vit.C. Here is a website which is quite informative http://www.doctoryourself.com/riordan1.html The following website describes a form of Vitamin C which is taken orally and has just been recommended to me personally by my alternative doctor, which is much more effective than the usual oral dosage because it is delivered in such a way that it bypasses the GI tract and a much higher percentage is actually available to be taken up by the body. Of course it would not replace the Intravenous but is used in conjuction with to keep the levels up between infusions. http://www.livonlabs.com/bio-technology/prod_select.html To answer your question about why messages about this treatment seem to have fallen off, I think some people feel too intimidated to post messages regarding alternative therapies because of the hostility shown by some other members on this board to such messages. They are often perceived as false and giving false hope to people and the posters are often personally attacked and vilified for sharing their views. Knowledge is power and I just can't understand why it is so frightening to some. Shemay

Why have the vitamin C IV messages stopped? Are there any patients currently receiving sodium ascorbate IV treatment who can advise us whether or not it is effective over time? There had been a flurry of messages on teh board about this alternative therapy, but now the flow has slowed to a halt. Does that mean the concensus is we shouldn't pursue it?
