Subject: My Father's Diagnosis?
Date: 07/20/2004
Hi, I am 27 and my father has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer,I am unsure of his stage though and cannot seem to find any info to help me figure out what stage his cancer is in. He has pain, I understand that goes along with it, but he has recently started to bleed all the time, he also refuses any sort of treatment. He has other cancer and does receive treatment for those...i.e.chemotherapy and radiation for lung cancer. I have asked him to come live with me and am desperatly seeking any info on the stages he will go through and where his stage is at now? I have so many questions about all this I could go on forever, I have asked my father many questions but he does not want to talk about it and when he does he will not answer my questions fully and is keeping a lot of what he is going through and what he has been told by the doctor very secretive. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can expect at this point and how I find out more info?
