Interferon Treatment

Subject: interferon treatment

Hi, my Mum has started interferon treatment this week. I cant get my head around giving a healthy energetic woman a drug which is toxic and unpleasant side effects. Her main side effect has been dreadful aches and pains in her joints. Has anyone used any complementary treatment which they found helpful?
