she was 58, and had the cancer for about 1 1/2 years. the end was really bad, we put her in hospice and she went into a 17 day coma.
i was 14 at the time, im now 15.
This is a good message board that you and I have found. I am 55 years old, 2 sons ages 27 and 30. Oncologist has given me "3 to 6 months" but what does he know? I am in month number 2 right now. Would love to see Christmas. The cancer has spread. I have 2 metal stents and good pain management that keep me going. As a matter of fact, haven't felt this good in months at the moment but I know that can come crashing down. I will have home hospice and I can't say enough wonderful things about these ladies.
Try to focus on the good....the good times...the smiles...the little private things that were talked about. I am reading Final Gifts right now. Interesting little stories.
