Irving,
You go buddy!!!! We all love to hear good news especially with all the bad news we all face on a regular basis. I am so glad to hear you have been three years. Would you mind telling me what you have done and been through during this period to prolong your life?? I am a stage 4 Metastatic Colorectal / Liver patient. Diagnosed on 12-27-06. My tumors have shrunk tremendously but I am at the point where they want me to make a decision on surgery, options to look at. I am being pushed towards Isolated Liver Perfusion (IHP) Love that you are around three years later. Sorry to hear about your new tumor but this too shall pass. You can do it!!!! Keep the head up and keep marching. Keep up the good news!!! If you get a second would you fill me in on your steps of progress over the last three years and what kind of surgeries you have had. Where are you being treated???
Thanks a bunch and the best of luck TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!
Jack
Cancer started in colon stage 4, successful surgery but the cancer metastisized to liver, 3 years of chemo kept me going then lucky me pet scan showed I was cancer free, very happy but 3 months later new tumor on liver I just had surgery 2 weeks ago again successful will be starting chemo again in two weeks. Decided to stay in Long Island for treatments foung great surgeon and oncolgist. Went to Memorial Sloan for second opinon amd they said my Drs. were doing the right treatments. Three years of survival and hope there will be many more.
