Radiation And Stomach Cramps

Subject: radiation and stomach cramps

Hi,

My Lior has RCC stage IV, grade 3, with mets to bones (ribs, vertebrae, pelvis). He began radiation 10 days ago, today is his last session. Two days ago he started having bad stomach cramps, that we think might be a side effect of the radiation -- they're zapping close to the intestines. Our oncologist suggested Malox, but it doesn't seem to be very effective. Anyone had anything like this?
