Subject: Confused at my blood work
Date: 08/06/2007

Hi there. I was diagnosed and operated on for Papillary Carcinoma in 1996 at 28 yrs of age. I had a left lobectomy done where the tumor was and removal of some surrounding lymph nodes all which were cancer free. I did not have any any other treatments done after that other than being put on synthroid to suppress the right side that was left.  I have been cancer free ever since. Unfortunately I stopped being cared for by the same group who diagnosed and operated on me over 6 yrs ago and have just been followed up from a PC. I have to admit I got lazy with the follow-taking it for granted once I hit my 5 yr but, now recently have been trying to get back on top of it. In the last few months I have had blood work done and my levels adjusted to lower certain ranges that seemed high. But, for some reason the more synthroid I'm getting some of the levels that should go down have gone up?? I'm starting to get nervous and have reached out today to see about getting in with an Endo near me here soon. If anyone has any advice or has had this experience please let me know. All I keep thinking is that maybe there is a possible growth??? thanks
