Hi Pam..I too am on a journey but not sure to where yet. I am scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy this thursday. I am 57, diabetic, have had mini-strokes and splenic vein thrombosis. To say the least I'm a bit terrified and trying desperately not to become depressed. My doctor seems to think I may have Essential Thrombocytosis as my platelets are running amuck. Please keep in touch..maybe we can shower each other with humor!!
