My name is Gayle. Just today my 75 yr old father was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, on his scalp. No other info-the pathologist just called his PCP to have him break the news. Apparently he'll be seen at the U of MN by specialists I've done a little reading of this-doesn't look promising. In Dec. my 74 yr old mother was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer; and in Jan. I (54 yr old daughter) was diagnosed with squamous cell CA metastasized to neck w/unknown primary. My mother is doing NO treatments and will take the years she has left. I have been thru surgeries, proceedures, scans, IMRT radiation, cisplatin, and just recently a modified neck dissection. Wow, huh? So when you think life is getting tough-think of this scenario! I would love to get more info on angiosarcoma, please!!!!!!
Thanks, Gayle in MN
