I am so sorry to hear of Gandalf's passing.
I think I speak on behalf of many of us that when a members' "child" loses his or her fight to this horrid disease, we ALL die a little. In the meantime, we can only hold onto our babies a little tighter and pray fervently for a cure.
You and your husband are in my prayers and I wish you both -- not consolation, because there is no consolation in losing a loved one -- the courage to bear the grief, and the serenity with which to receive the blessings that are surely in store for you. For you have been brave and selfless and you deserve a life of blessings.
