Lynn, Iris has been passing the bright red blood along with the clots for the last couple of months. It is on a daily basis and she rarely passes anything that looks normal anymore. She is on antibiotics full time, along with all her other drugs, and they are switched every 2 weeks. She has become resistant to a couple of them and they never clear the blood. Sometimes I don't know how she goes on. She sleeps most of the time but still eats well and seems happy to be here. I feel we are close but each dog is different. All we can do is take one day at a time and love these babies for as long as we have. Take care, Joyce and Iris.
