Colleen,
That is such a hard decision to make. I admire you. I know I will have to make that same decision one day. Right now Kacee is holding her own. She has slowed down, and sleeps alot (afterall she is almost 14)but she is eating like a little pig and does still play. I have heart to heart conversations with her. Sounds strange but I believe she will tell me when it is time. This week I read a 2005 health survey in Great Scots magazine. I was shocked to find out that 48% of all Scotties die from cancer, with bladder and liver in the front. Also, their life expectancy is down to 10 years!! It made me feel a little better (but not much)because I was blaming myself (using roundup, smoking etc.). My thoughts are with you as JB makes his journey to rainbow bridge.
