Hi, this is my first post. I was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer - stage 1 Seminoma. I had an orchiectomy and have been advised to have follow-up treatment. The radiation and chemotherapy oncologists both made a case for their treatment, and now I need to decide which course to take. I would appreciate any advice, and especially would like to hear from someone who has gone through either treatment, specifically with the chemo drug, carboplatin - 2 doses. I would also like to know how you manage to avoid cold/flu infections when you have elementary-school age children, and if the lowered immunity was a big issue. Thanks. Dennis
