I just had the LEEP Procedure on August 16, 2007. It was awful. I don't have medical insurance so I had to go to the county hospital. I wore full surgery gear from head to toe. For some reason, that small detail had a huge emotional effect on me. The worst part was the numbing of the cervix. I had local anesthesia. After that it was okay other than the cramping, which only lasted 2 days, and the horrible discharge. It's a week later  and I feel sluggish and sad.  I went to return for my results today and he stated that the displacia was mild and I will be okay. I have to return for a PAP in 6 months. I am glad to see a site where you can express your feelings. Now I don't feel alone.

Thanks everyone for sharing and caring.
