After searching the web for two weeks, i found that the above information has been the most helpfull by far! I'm 23 and 2 weeks ago i found out i have VIN 2. Needless to say, i was and quite honeslty still am a bit frightened. I have my first visit with the oncologist on the 30th of this month and have been doing research about treatments so i am prepared by the time i go to my doctors visit. I'm currently debating whether or not laser would be the best choice. From what i've read, it seems that with this option there is no sample left to be sent out and get examined. And more than one laser procedure is always needed. If any of you have any suggestions please feel free and let me know!! i would really love to hear more about your experiences and learn more about what i have yet to encounter..

My other experiences include:
At first intercourse was painful.  I tried after 6 weeks of healing and it was somewhat painful and bleeding occurred.  I decided to give it two more weeks.  But, I would say at least 8 weeks healing time for intimacy.  It has been 10 weeks since my surgery and it feels pretty good down there, it just feels different.  Like the skin is thinner especially the perineum area. Take care and you will do fine!  I also made sure,  at the advice of another on this site, to get a sitz bath prior to surgery.  Also make sure you have plenty of maxi pads, I recommend the overnight ones for the extra coverage.
