After 16 months of a very brave and valiant fight, my mother lost her life to this cancer this morning. She was at home surrounded by her loved ones and her beautiful kitties, with her favorite music playing. She was very courageous for the most part, fighting the symptoms of chemo for a full year before deciding that she wanted to live the last of her life without treatment. She was 76 years old and did not let cancer define her existence. She was and will always remain my hero. I will come back to this website periodically as I have made very good friends here, particularly Iris from Holland. I wish your husband well and for all those still continuing the fight I shall pray for you every day. And for the caretakers I pray too, you are a special breed of people.
