I appreciate your posting. You are exactly right. Doctors do not consider alternative therapies because the research funding comes from the pharmacuetical companies. That is why there is very little research on alternative therapies - no one recommends them for one and then there is no government funding. It is so frustrating to me that as a patient you have to get out there and find the information on your on becasue all the doctors are going to recommend is usually chemo and radiation - which are both cancer causing agents themselves. If you are a cancer patient - please research and be open to natural and alternative therapies.
