I can only hope this message gets to others out there who are fighting this diagonoses. My 41 yr old brother was recently (9/21/07) told he had Cholongiocarcinoma. He was told he was a T-4, not resectable, tumor over 15 cm. The tumor has encased most of his bile system & portal veins. Stent inserted. Alot of jaundice, no itching, some complaints of "feeling hot". He has a family of three, youngest 9 months. What can we do to help him. They did 3 byopsies with no definite tissue to confirm the cancer. He is scheduled for a 4th one this week. They are going to do small incisions on the liver in hopes of getting a confirmed tissue. How can they diagnose this cancer with out an actual tissue that proves it's cancer. Please help us...thank you. He is being treated at the San Francisco Hospital, we are from Sacramento, California
