I don't have any answers but this sound so similar to what is happening to my mother.  She is 60 and was told on the 19th that they thought she had cancer.  They confirmed it Friday but can not tell us where it is coming from or what type it is.  She has had no symptoms except jaundice.   We are going to see if we can find a second opinion.  I will post back if we find out anything that could help you.  Good luck.
