I don't have any answers but this sound so similar to what is happening to my mother.  She is 60 and was told on the 19th that they thought she had cancer.  They confirmed it Friday but can not tell us where it is coming from or what type it is.  She has had no symptoms except jaundice.   We are going to see if we can find a second opinion.  I will post back if we find out anything that could help you.  Good luck.

Today, my brother met with the treatment dr to discuss what is the best treatment option for his cancer.  Unbelievably, the doctors (there were three in the room) told us they didn't think this was cancer, but rather a rare form of Fibrosis that was growing unsually and was encasing his bile system.  Today they totally disagreed with the doctor who gave us the diagnoses of Cholongiocarcinoma.  They didn't feel it was aggressive at all.  However, they said we shouldn't be estatic because we may have had more options if this did turn out to be malignant.  We are so frustrated.  Our hands are tied until Wednesday 10/3 when the 4th biopsy will be done.  According to today's doctor we must be able to confirm or eliminate cancer before any treatment can be discussed.  The doctor today told my brother he was just too healthy to have cancer.  He doesn't have the itching or fevers that are typically involved with Cholongio.  His appetite is fairly good, he has only lost two lbs since this ordeal began months ago.  According to this doctor the jaundice came from the bile blockage from the fibrosis, and the stent that was put in two weeks ago will help curb the jaundice and increase bile flow.  We'll just have to wait until the laproscopy (inciscions) biopsy this week.......

Just wondering what the outcome was with the situation?  Any definitive answers?
