My husband had a 15cm high grade myxoid tumor removed from back of knee and thigh in Jan. 07.

He started walking after surgery with crutches and progressed to cane quickly.  Had the cane for quite a while but then began walking in neighborhood slowly.  Then progressed to walking track in our neighborhood.  Now He walks everday 2.5 miles.

His leg look ok but there is a huge scar but who cares.  he can not run yet as he says it feels weird.  I don't think he should worry about that and just walk.  (He use to run 3 days or more a week)

hope everything works out.
