I had also asked his general practioner if I could get a second opinion about his not eating and I was told if we do that, the first doctor would get mad! Well, since then he was put in a nursing home and they drugged him with morphine for 2 days. He ended up at ER. We had them take him to the other hospital in town. I figured that way we could kind of 'start over.' They put a feeding tube down him the first day he was admitted. He is still trying to eat on his own too but having a hard time. At least I know he is getting a little bit of something. Because he is 81 I'm worried all this may be too much for him. Does it seem inconceivable that he could beat this at such an old age? I don't know understand why a feeding tube would be bad. I haven't had a problem with mine. I would die with out it. I will keep praying for hin
