Sorry to hear about your grandmother, I hope she is recovering well. Was the cancer also found in her uterus as well as her leg and lung? There are treatment options out there. This cancer can be difficult to treat and chemo or radiation does not always work. She needs to get a 2nd opinion soon so she can start treatment. There is a sarcoma center in Houston that specializes. I dont know how close she live to it but its worth a try. Just remember that all doctors are not familiar with this type of cancer because it is so rare. There are many studies that she can get into and may help prolong her life. I hope this helps you.
