First of all I just want to say how sorry I am about your mom. My mom is also battling this - Diagnosed stage 4 in March 2006.
I know that they don't generally use radiation therapy for Ovarian Cancer, but I have heard of instances when they use it to shrink tumors that are blocking bowels/intestines etc. Have they mentioned this as a possibility? Have you received any second opinions on treatment options? I will hope for the best for both of you.
