My Mom cancer has spread all over and she was sent to a Hospice on Tuesday. Her condition is very serious and time is very short. My Mom who has had a peg tube in since January is no longer been getting any food because the peg is blocked off from what the Doctors believe is a tumor in the small Intestine. Mom is also incoherent and very weak. Is there an IV that she can go on that will kill or at least reduce the Cancer and also give her enough food and Nutrition to survive? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My family and I reside out in Huntington, Long Island and my Mom is in a hospice in Melville, LI. Mom has been battling stage 3C Ovarian Cancer for 19 months with reoccurences. I hope to here back.

I know how weary you can get clinging to the hope of healing. It has known to happen. I, too, cared for my 29-year old daughter who fought the same battle. She was first diagnosed in 2002, recurrence 2005 and recurrence 2007. She passed away in my arms on October 30th. She just got weary of all the pokes, prods, chemicals, side effects and cancer. I pray for a cure for this horrible disease. If you can be with her and just tell her how much you love her and speak about all the good memories you had with her. The last sense to go when someone passes into heaven is their hearing. Let her know how much she is loved.....I will pray for all of you.
