When my mom had hospice, for the short time she had it, they sponged bathed her. What they did, was first roll her one side, slide a dry towel, then roll her the other way and pull the towel under completely, then she used a wash cloth, soad and water, wash one area of her body then wipe if off clean, she had two basins, one with clean wather the other was soapy water. my mother was never soak and wet, she also washed her hair, the same way with a wash cloth. It takes time and experince but she did get a bath. Good luck.
