My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer.. It is at the base of the esophagus and after the PET scan Monday, it has been found in one of her ovaries. I have read so many web sites I am turning is circles. What’s the prognosis for her? What should she and I expect? They had scheduled her for Radiation and Chemotherapy but that’s been cancelled after they found her ovary infected. I do not even know if I am using all the right terminology. I dont even know if I am asking all the right questions. I read most of the other posts and to be honest it did not sound promising.
Any help you can give me I would appreciate.
