What To Look Out For

PS-

I forgot to mention pain, which had been my biggest fear for my father from the time he was diagnosed.  His pain was successfully managed with morphine, both a transdermal patch and injections.  Sometimes they would alternate the morphine with ativan (anti-anxiety drug) and unmanaged pain was never an issue for him, nor should it be for you loved one.  Hospice staff is very good at pain management.
