Having stumbled on this site looking for answers to my husbands conditon. You are the only person i have seen that lives in the UK.
My husband was diagnosed 5 years ago this christmas. The symptoms he has got are night sweats, joint pain and bone pain, fatigue, also in the past few months diarhorea. They have tried thalidomide and danozol to help his blood counts, also 4 blood transfusions and they have not worked. At the moment they have taken him off all medication and dropped the idea of stem cell transplant, excuse for this is because he has had an heart attack and it could be too stressfull. My husband also has memory loss like yourself but we have never been told it is due to his condition.
We live in Yorkshire and see a top medical consultant called Proffessor Riley at Sheffield Hallamshire. At the moment my husband is really down and does'nt want to go out of the house, i fear that he wont be here much longer and that he is giving up.
