I had the same op in '80. If the Dr is a little clumsy, like mine was, during the node removal, a nerve gets cut that results in " retrograde ejaculation" where the seminal fluid dumps into your bladder. A percentage of patients recover that function with time.
It's easy to tell if your ejaculate has sperm in it by looking in a microscope.
