Im looking for information on some issue my wife is having, she went to her gyno, 2 weeks ago, while being exsamined the gyno, said she had a discoleration of the interior vulva, it looks like a blues black spydery type birthmark, it seems like its been there forever, it is not rough or scabby, just like s,mall broken blood vessels. She had a cat done , nothing found, Pap nothiong found, Next step is a biopsy, if nessesary per the Gyno? i would think it should be done period, but hell, im just a guy. Has anyone ever heard of this, the gyno said she has never seen this before, and she has been in the bussness for awhile

Thanks Joe

I was diagnosed a year ago with vulvar cancer. Luckily, chemo and radiation erradicted it. I follow up with a gyno every other month. Any irregularity at all is biopsied, I have had two biopsies since I went thru treatment. both came back negative.  Although vulvar cancer is a slow growing cancer, I woudn;t take any chances. You should demand a biopsy be done.

Hope this helps
