Paying For Tarceva

Subject: Paying for Tarceva
Date: 11/28/2007

I just found out from my husband's oncologist that Tarceva costs approximately $8,000.00 per month!  Who can pay that much for a drug?

Right now the doctor's office is trying to find out if our ins. company will cover Tarceva.  If not then the remission my husband is in now will be threatened.  I can't believe the cost!!

       Has anyone here been on this drug?  How did you pay for it?
