Hello:
I have been having symptoms very similar to the ones associated with Bile Duct Cancer, but am unsure about what to think:
1. I have itching, jaundice, have experienced swelling in my legs, loss of appetite (sick whenever I eat almost anything), and really dark urine.
Based on what you folks know, would you say I have bile duct cancer? If I do have bile duct cancer, I don't want to put my family through what sounds like 95% failure in treatment. I don't consider the 5% change I would live sufficient justification for the pain caused to them. I guess I know where I'm going if I pass on. I go in for a CT scan on Monday - just curious as to your thoughts on whether I have bile duct cancer - please don't commend on my willingness to receive treatment - in that I am firm.
