Make sure you ask the Oncologist what type of chemo he will be receiving.
My dad is on the tail end of his chemo treatments (one more to go). His biggest complaint was the mouth sores. It's difficult for him to eat anything with them so I made him some high calorie whey protein shakes with whole milk.
