So sorry to hear you mum is battling LP too! Please see my post titled "Living every day Can happen". We have been doing Oxaliplatin, Epirubicin, and Xeloda for 9 months with excellent results for LP that was inoperable back in March. Started chemo (every 3 or 4 weeks) in April 2007 and still going STRONG. Leaving for Mexico and the beach tomorrow as there is snow here in Denver. Maybe your oncologist can change your meds a little? Hope this helps. God Bless you both during this battle.
