I was diagnosed with CLL almost 3 years ago. I had no symptoms/problems other than a lump in a lymph node on my neck, that many doctors had told me was nothing to worry about. I finally went to a new doctor for my annual checkup, who insisted on checking this lump out. As a result, I was diagnosed with CLL, also stage 4. A bone marrow draw was done that confirmed this diagnosis. I started a regimine (sp) of Fludarabine, Rituxin three days a week for sixth months. I am now in remission and for the most part feel great -- only problems seem to be from getting older (I am 53). My doctor has told me that I will most likely die from old age, or complications of old age, rather than CLL. I don't know what your other medical problems are, or where you live, but I would strongly suggest that you see a reputable oncologist in your area, and spend a great deal of time talking with him about your options.
The most important thing for you to do, is ask God to take this burden from you, and know that he will take care of you! A positive attitude and the inner strength you will receive from him will get you thru this. Let your family and friends worry,
