It is past my bedtime, so this will at this time be "brief": 3 years ago, while newly able to resume my attendance at the Naturopathic lecture series, the speaker(among the world's most respected and best informed physicians) distributed a handout of 300+ pages, which included a chart showing the amino-acid contents of a number of common foods. It "literally" leaped off the page to my eyes that, if one consumed apple, carrot, celery, and raw sunflower seeds, among the benefits assimilated therefrom would be all 23 amino acids! (All proteins must be fractioned to their amino-acid components b4 they can be used by our cells for repair/building structure; from such sources, that work & energy are saved for other uses!)The very next day a lady who had done quite a favor for me informed me that she had been scheduled for cataract surgery, but the preliminary blood work showed that not only was she anemic, but that her red blood cell production (from all sources!) had completely shut down! Further, she was so anemic, the physicians gave her little hope of survival. At my suggestion, she immediately procured the fruit, veggies, and seeds, proceeding to "snack" thereupon throughout her day. (She reports no other changes were made, tho' of course as she was "snacking" on these, her usual junque-snacks were out of the picture, though her beer & cigarettes were not...) Notwithstanding, in less than a week, her RBC production was quite well re-established, and in less than 2 weeks, all her signs well within the "normal" range, she had her lenses exchanged, and has made other progresses since, never looking back! I took another look, and with celery & the raw sunflower seeds, one may substitue almonds, pineapple, & alfalfa sprouts, and voila, 23 aminos again; the liver will normally store aminos, awaiting the arrival of more.
