My advice is to stay focused on the holiday season and enjoy every moment you have with your sister. I have just had my first Christmas without my husband. Just treasure your time. Last year was rough for us but I never anticipated that it would be our last Christmas together. I guess I just took it for granted. I would suggest to anyone with this disease to live everyday to the fullest no matter how bad it is and never fail to express your love for one another. Your sister's situation is very much like my husband's was but she is still hanging in there. Keep encouraging her. New and better things are being developed everyday. My husband also developed the plasmcytoma's. His started shortly after the transplant. He was avery determined person in so much pain but he never gave up. His plasma cytoma's were on his upper arms and they were the size of golf balls. Your sister is in my prayers. Please keep me posted. She has beaten the odds before and hopefully she can do it again.
