It is normal to be afraid, cancer is scarey.  My husband is stage 3 and we opted no chemo.  We prayed for wisdom and are doing natural things.  I would suggest you search the web for stage IV colon cancer survivors and read the positive cases - there are a lot of them living a long time.  Remember stats are averages, he can live a long life.  Do not give up, be positive and do not let fear rob you of today.  Today is a gift, enjoy it.  Take one day at a time and enjoy it to the fullest.  And talk to long term survivors that can give you hope.  It is there.  I will be praying for you.  Janet
