When I found out that I had prostate cancer 2 years ago I was devastated and searching for hope. My father and 2 uncles had died from PC and I thought that there was nothing I could do. I talked to several PC survivors but none of them had it as bad as mine so it was hard to relate to their situation. Friends told me to talk to Larry because when he was diagnosed his psa was over 100 and he had gleason 9 and although he had surgery it was already in his system. The doctors told him he had 6 months to live. Well when I first talked to Larry he had been dealing with it for 8 years and as I write to you it has been 10 years.
So there is hope. He has done hormones, radiation, chemo and a strict diet with vitamin supplements. He has been able to maintain his psa around 2.5. I thought if he can do it so can I. You can too. Good luck and God Bless you.
